Questions

Questions firms ask first

Short answers to what firms and traders ask before they send an account. Anything else, write to us.

Access and security

Do you need API or server access?

No. For each account we need the login, the investor password and the server name, exactly what a trader types into MetaTrader. An investor password opens one account, read-only. It cannot trade, and nothing else on your server is visible to us.

Do you hold or release payouts?

Never. We do not touch funds, platforms or decisions. We make sure somebody actually looked, and give both sides the evidence.

What we check

What about drawdown and profit targets?

They stay with your risk system, which already watches them live on your own server. Checking them again from the outside would be slower and no better. We check the behavioural rules and how the profit was made.

Reports and disputes

Can a trader dispute a report?

Yes, and that is the point. The trader gets the same report, with the same evidence and the rule text it was judged against. A correction is issued as a new report, linked to the first. Nothing is ever edited in place.

Is the report public?

Private by default. The verification link confirms the document's integrity without exposing its contents. Publication to the directory is per report, opt-in, anonymised and revocable.

Platforms and timing

Which platforms do you support?

MetaTrader 5 first, with investor passwords and batch submission. cTrader with read-only authorisation and Match-Trader follow. There is nothing to integrate in any case.

How long does a review take?

For a firm whose rules are already published on PropArbiter, reports are near-instant. The first import of a new firm's rules is checked by a person before any report cites it, which can take up to 24 hours.
